I purchased these DVD’s for my husband who never seen them when they were on TV as he lived in the US. He loved them and help give him an insight into Australian TV in the past. He has what he calls Movie day and watches a couple of episodes a week. -

Received the DVDs promptly; great to reminisce about the good old days. I'd forgotten how good Gerard Kennedy and Chuck Faulkner, in particular, were. Enjoying it as much as I did as a kid in the '70s. Congrats Crawford's on the excellent quality of these DVDs. -

Love Division 4. Real actors portraying real people that you can relate to. Oh and Frank Banner drives a HK Holden Cop Car with a Column Gear Change. Takes me back as this was my first car. Great car, Great Show ! What more can I say ? -

I ordered Volume 1 of Division 4, along with Volume 1 of Homicide on Monday morning.
Both DVD's arrived 2 days later.
Excellent quality and 5 Star service from Crawfords.

Takes me back to my younger days

It's excellent that iconic Aussie TV drama is available for viewing 50 years after it first aired. Well done to Crawfords for having the foresight to package great memories and also key examples of popular culture in these collections. They are well presented and video quality is excellent. I watched Division 4 keenly as a youngster, especially with my grandparents who loved it so it's great I can now share this with my family.

The best of Australian Television

I grew up with Division Four. It was mandatory viewing for all us kids in the late sixities and the seventies.
My brother Ashley Dunen was lucky enough one day to meet Gerard Kennedy on set on location in Yarraville.
I loved the show, the brilliant cast and the excellent acting, or over acting by today's standards. I hope to watch every episode, it brings back a lot of happy memories, but also a few sad ones. Rest in Peace my old Yarraville State School buddy Peter McNay. We used to watch the show together as kids. The other big plus is that you have a snapshot of what the Streets and Suburbs of Melbourne looked like back then. Also the clothing they wore and the language they used is living history. You won't find them on Face book or using mobile phones on Division 4!! This is raw and real Australian TV at it's best. I actually wondered when Crawfords would show their business acumen and start releasing their back catalogue. Hunter, Matlock Police and Homicide and many others. Well done Crawfords.

Both this and homicide are the only tv series that I watch whilst not doing anything else. A bit corny but lots of local street scenery and old fashioned values. -

Great memories of one of my favorite shows, it is really great to be finally able to see so many early episodes that I missed of Division 4, do yourself a favor and buy Divison 4 for yourself, you won't regret it.
I hope that you also release both Matlock Police and Hunter on DVD soon also.
Ps keep up the good work Crawfords and keep releasing the whole series please.

I remember watching Homicide & Division 4 as a kid in the 1970s & was amazed I could still get these TV series. It's brilliant especially as I moved to Melbourne & was filmed here. Love the tackiness of the sets & the acting. I'm working my way through the whole lot eventually.
