By 1975 Division 4 was still able to deliver the goods to viewers now in living colour. Quite remarkable when it was the third most popular show on Australian TV. Best episodes are "A Sense of Duty" - part 1 & 2, "Dying Deposition", "Unflit to Plead", "Two Hours of Madness" and "What Will My Friends Say?". Other standout episodes are "The Lame Ducks" and "Nicky" guest starring John Orcsik and Gil Tucker in their pre-Cop Shop days.

Nearing the end of Division 4 as we are now in 1974. Ted Hamilton and Patricia Smith are long gone and the uniform branch has a few newcomers, including Andrew McFarlane. Nothing much has changed upstairs in CI. Vickers bedside manner has not improved, He wants results otherwise the superintendent will hunt him down. Amusing as ever are his loud calls of 'FRANK' as he asks for Frank Banner to leave the muster room pronto and follow the next lead. Scotty is still sick of yielding his stretched uniform man power to CI. DIv 4 is the equal of Homicide in my view; both quality Aussie cop shows that sustained quality over many years, I know they notched a few logies along the way. Quite deservedly so.
