  1. Amazing double episode 5 Star Review

I've just watched the 'From The Top' double ep. I was blown away at how gripping the plot was. Poor old Kurts was portrayed as a blind alcoholic by the defence lawyer. All in all, a top notch double episode. Great work!

  7. A Good Do 5 Star Review

There we are. I've seen series 13 & felt bereft when it finished. It's shocking being drip fed like this, but what can you do. I was sorry when Norman Yen left. Homicide for me is the epitome of good Australian police shows.
  8. More Quality Vintage Australian TV 5 Star Review
    Posted by James on 28/02/2017

There's not much left to say about Homicide really, now were up to Volume 13, which contains Episodes 313 to 337 (25 episodes this time as No.319 is a double episode). This now puts us exactly two-thirds of the way through the entire run. It's much the same good quality as the previous 12 volumes, but by now the show probably has a touch more polish than the earlier ones. The only slight negative, if one can call it that, is the departure of Norman Yemm, replaced by Mike Preston. Not that I don't like Mike Preston, but it was just a bit sad to see Norman Yemm go. I always thought the Kurts, Teale, Mallaby and Yemm combination was probably the best. At least he wasn't killed off like a couple of the others!

Needless to say, very much looking forward to the remaining volumes.

  11. More classic "Homicide" action... 4 Star Review
Posted by Chris Keating on 28/02/2017

Another fine volume, from the experimental two hour "From The Top", to Senior Detective Patterson's departure in "Grains Of Sand", and finishing off with "The Crisis", with the squad's new detective at Mac's throat - great stuff!
  12. A great drama series 4 Star Review
Posted by Tom King on 28/02/2017

A splendid collection of episodes of a great series. The episode where Jim Paterson leaves the series (the kidnapping) is great drama. The following episode, Delaney's first appearance, was also great viewing.

That episode showed the conflict and personality clashes that can arise in many organisations.

I am looing forward to future releases of this great progam.
