Grace faces the inevitable – her second son Tom will soon be leaving for the Middle East. As Tom departs he fears Christine may not wait for him to return?

Dave Sullivan continues to struggle with indecision – will he re-enlist to fight in this war? Meanwhile Grace suspects that Dave is not telling her everything about his past with Maggie.

The arrival of evacuee children from London disrupt home life for Jarvis and the Sullivan family.

Great to watch this series again with no ads ! Wonderful actors like Lorraine Bailey and Paul Cronin, not forgetting Michael Caton and others. Truely wholesome viewing, reminding us of lthe hardships of World War 2 for our diggers overseas and their families left at home to cope. Showing what life was like in Australia. Crawford captured it fantastically well and produced a wonderful series with The Sullivans

Nostalgic, but I've got the Sullivan theme song in my head. Hope it doesn't lsst a century.

as the wife and i sat down to watch television one evening,she suggested we start watching the second season of the sullivans as we had already watched and thoroughly enjoyed the first season, the second season is as good as the first and brought back alot of childhood memories as we both had watched the television series regularly for years when we were both kids. thankyou crawfords for making this possible.
