I came across this website after seeing the advertisment. Always loved "The Sullivans" when I was very young. The quality of sound and picture is fantastic. Thanks Crawfords Productions.

This was and still is a great series it is good to see the episodes in their original cut where there are no commercials and not cut of scenes because of the commercials the picture and sound qualities for the age of the series is very good as well
Great Buy (delivered to NZ quickly)

This was a favorite show of mine growing up and to be able to share this with my own children is a real blessing. We don't have these clean family shows on tv anymore which is a real shame.

It was lovely to reivie the old memories, that watching this programme brought back to me. the pictures were good, but the sound quality was not quite so good. It is so nice to be able to watch a programme without any ad breaks.

Dated but entertaining enough. One weirdly unsettingly thing is you have an obviously woman in her twentys playing a girl in her early teens but you get to re enjoy the performances of all those actors when they were in their prime.

Oh the nostalgia. Loved it when it was first aired and loving it more now when viewing the DVD
A wonderful re-visiting of a series viewed only in part in 197-'s

I really enjoyed seeing this series again, having lived a few streets away from the Sullivan house, in the 70's. I went on to purchase the entire series, and found it a wonderful piece of social history.
Loved this series

Clear and good memory's of the old days It was received in days of buying it.
Classic tale with dated acting style

The Sullivans has to be one of Australia's best loved series from the late 70's with Lorraine Bayly as Grace, showing her skills as a natural actor. The rest of the cast didn't quite match her ability with some of Kitty's responses dating the show somewhat. I regret not seeing the series on its initail run to enjoy the memories that such experiences offer.
It was fabulous to see Michael Caton, as Uncle Harry, in one of his earliest roles and see him still performing admirably in the recently released film "Last Cab to Darwin". I look forward to warming to the characters having just watched the first 2 Episodes.

An example of Australian TV Drama invested with the values and and mores of an imagined glorious golden era; the 1940s

I couldn't wait to get my copy of The Sullivan's as I haven't seen it since the early 80's and I so wanted to relive the war time story by this series. Wonderful memories! They said I would bet my DVD's within a certain time and they came before the date they said, great doing business with Crawford Production. I can't wait for the remaining seasons only 14 to go.
What else would you buy the mother in law for her Birthday?
Posted by Donald W on 17/03/2017
What else would you buy the mother in law for her Birthday? Sure...make all the jokes you want...but my mother in law is the best in the world. I really, really wanted to buy and watch these myself...so I knew this would make the perfect gift for Mumsy because there is nothing better for the soul than giving. Added bonus...I will get to watch them with her when we visit so I now have something wonderful to look forward to as well.
Thanks and Happy Birthday Mumsy.
90 year old dad, got for present.

This was a phenomenal series when it aired in the 1980's, and it still is.
The drama and actors are great - excellent story lines, played out by outstanding actors.
A much loved family favourite that everyone should have on DVD.
The Way We Were.

A journey back in time faithfully portraying the way we were. No sex or violence which makes the whole potrayal more interesting and more true to life. Also a trip down memory lane for me. Everynight my family, when they were young, would gather to watch The Sullivans. The only series we all loved together. My family watching a family and remembering,
