Homicide is the best
Posted by Elizabeth French on 28/02/2017
Having finished series 12 I started to watch from series 1 again. Homicide just gets better. I find it interesting as to how social life was then & how I remember it. The changes in vehicles and Melbourne suburbs. I've always like Terry McDermott & Leonard Teale. I can't wait for the rest of the series.

throw back to the way we used to be in early 70s melbourne

I was only 6 years old in 1971, I don't remember all the episodes but certain ones stay with you like episode 249 the superintendent.... as a child it haunted me for years because it was so offbeat and bizarre.i could not get that image of norm yemm in that weird eagle outfit from my head ! it was only recently that I found out it was norm yemm. I think this was in your vol 10 or 11 dvd set. ....as for volume 12 , I am rediscovering many more fantastic episodes from this timevault. ...I cant wait for all future releases keep up the good work!

Still enjoying every episode

Just started to watch volume 12 - and loving it just as much as I did when I received volume 1. It's so interesting to see how much social change has taken place - from all that smoking they do to the bias I'm noticing against "working mothers" in these episodes from volume 12! But how nice to watch a police show without gratuitous swearing and violence - ah - it's a sign of growing older I guess... keep the episodes coming please!!!

ANOTHER GREAT VOLUME OF EPISODES

Another fantastic installment of Homicide on dvd.
I'm so glad to be able to watch this show. This volume is all 1971 episodes. I'm enjoying this show more than shows currently on television. I wish Homicide would screen on 7TWO so it can be seen by everyone again or for the for the first time.
Looking forward to the next volume and when the dvds get to the colour episodes.

Second best police series
Posted by grant horne on 28/02/2017
Another good police drama. 5 to 10 years before my time, time doesn't matter though. Ever such a pity how all of them dead nowadays, that's life though. A couple of exceptions on Matlock Police there. Will need to have to order Homicide from beginning of series, have made a huge jump to volume 12 after it was advertised, ordered it to see what I thought of it first, decided worth watching on from beginning of series.

Best of the best.

Homicide is by far the best series ever made for Australian television. I love it. In fact, I'd go so far as to say all Crawford productions are brilliant and worthy of 5 star ratings. Thank you so much for bringing them to dvd. Please keep them coming.
